As sent to me via various people: Check out #16 on The Power List: 20 Movers and Shakers in Science Fiction from io9!
Thanks to curgoth for posting the link in Friday’s comments, and to mcurry and clients Chris and Kameron for their blog posts, and to clients Bear, Jay, Mary, and Cherie for already sending notes my way.
It’s an awe-inspiring list to be a part of, and I certainly wouldn’t have built such a notable repertoire without the amazing and talented writers they mention, both established (they mention Elizabeth Bear and Jay Lake) and new (looking at Amanda Downum – with her shiny debut, Ken Scholes with his book, Lamentation, coming out in February, and Mary Robinette Kowal with her Campbell winning) — and everyone else. So, I say, congratulations to the writers that have made me the agent I am today.
And, now, humbled by this, I return to my day of less-than-glamorous end-of-year paperwork….
Holy crap, congrats!!!!
it’s the paperwork that keeps you ‘umble…
Bwahah. You *rock*. 🙂
Congratulations. Does that mean you’ll get a raise? ;P
Not bad company at all.. may we kiss your ring?
Yay. Congratulations, Jennifer! I’m sending you a cyber quarter-pound chocolate chip cookie. 😀 Enjoy.
That’s fantastic – congratulations!
*jaw drops* Congratulations, Jen! You’re in amazing company!
Pretty darned nifty!
Wow. Nice work.
Congratulations! You completely deserve the accolades (as do your clients).
Awesome news. Major congrats, Mme Agent!
Congrats! It’s definitely deserved; you represent some of my favorites in the genre!
Congrats to you!
Next year I’m sure you’ll be higher on the list.
Nicely done. Good to see positive news in the current clime.
Well done! You’re in fantastic company there, too, sandwiched between Bendis/Quesada and Will Wright, of all people.
Very sweet. It’s a thrill to know you!
Hey, this is just great!
(And next time you’re moved to wonder why you don’t blog more often but worry that you should, remember this moment. 🙂
That’s fantastic, Congrats Jen!
Ooh, can I be scared of you now? Oh, wait. I was already.
That must be why I always find you so charming. 😉
Now that is awesome! ::cheers::
What you should really be recognized for are two things: the hard, hard, hard work you put in, and your talented eye. Applause, applause!
Flogging the Quill
Awesome news, congrats! 🙂
Late to the party, as usual, but congratulations!
