Signed up a new client this week and broke the K/hard-C phase the other four had beginning their names. This author lacks those letters anywhere in her name. She’s writing a YA prep school series set on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and called The Elite which launches next year from Penguin. She also owns Impetus Press, which focuses on works of serious literary fiction with a pop or urban sensibility.
I think five new clients in one year is actually slightly higher than usual for the last few years.
Congrats and much success to your new author.
Congratulations on the new non K/hard-C client acqusition. I’d actually come over to post the amusing news that I’d just signed my first new client in ages…and sure enough, she’s a K.
At this rate, writers are going to start changing their names. ;^)
Congradulations!
Congradulations on the new client! I was looking at your client list, I see several science fiction names I know, and a few more I’m going to get to know.
