from the files of Agent Manners

Dear Agent Manners:
I have my first in-person agent pitch coming up soon. If the agent doesn’t seem to be interested in the project I’m pitching, is it appropriate to pitch a different one?
Thank you,
Clueless Writer

Dear Clueless:

In the event that there is time remaining for a second pitch, why don’t you simply ask the agent if they’d like to hear another. If they say yes, go for it. If they demur, then just politely thank them for their time.

Just want to thank you for your insight into the world of publishing. I’m sure you have plenty of things on your plate, but you still manage to blog.
    Thank you again,
    appreciative reader 🙂
